A country that invaded a neighboring country and annexes its territory against international law is not going to see some arbitrary line of international waters as a legitimate barrier against aggression. The seemingly risky method of attack is lost on me why not just shoot down the drone. Done right we might not have ever know what happened, just a lost drone. Russia could shoot down a hundred of our drones and as long as no Americas are killed there would not be much outrage. Did we get the message? Stop spying on us with drones or we will swat them like flies.
