A good article thanks.
This: "Think about it: how many hours are we taught about money and money management in school?"
I think too many people think that learning only happens is school. I learned to manage my money from my Dad and actually managing my finances from my first job (paperboy). I was taught to save not borrow. I had to keep book on sales, collections and payments. Deposited my earnings, less spending money into a savings account, bought a savings bond. I knew about stocks before I graduated High School but did not own any. All my savings were spent before I graduated college and I had to borrow but not much. I had scholarships and grants.
I have taught myself many things that I did not learn in school.
