A lot of what you have said is good. You are wrong about the source of planetary heating caused by burning fossil fuels. The energy released when burning fossil fuels is only contributes a small fraction of the planetary heating that burning the fuels causes. That contribution is overwhelmed by the greenhouse effect of the carbon dioxide and methane released into the atmosphere due to the use of fossil fuels. Reducing greenhouse gas emissions is necessary to mitigate global warming.
