A revolution could bring change that replaces elites with some sort of egalitarian direct democracy. I will compromise and just say that I think it is very unlikely.

I like the direct democracy idea, get rid of professional politicians, have all laws be voted on by the electorate, would be nice to see some smaller country try it. Alternately, maybe have representatives be selected by lottery, drafted.

Almost anything to replace the Elites with Commoners.
