a simple majority is too small a margin for it allows 50% plus 1 to subjugate the other 50% while the filibuster almost forces the need for a supermajority, I think a supermajority should be required not just to impeach or the change the constitution but for all legislation and appointments. We need to end the tyranny of the simple majority. Politics would be a lot different if a nothing could be achieved without compromise.
