A very interesting story and for once the click bait title does not bother me.

I can answer the title question "Why Are We Still Using 2d Cinema Cameras To Make Films?" Because masterful and entertaining products can still be produced with 2d Cinema Cameras. Like, why do people still write books. It works and 3d and Holographic Cinematography lacks stories that can really deliver on the tech. I have watched some IMax and 3d movies, for me the story is still king, not the medium (this site not withstanding :-).
