Ah, my mirror image buddy. I might use to have been a Conservative, but the Republicans now call me a RINO. I really have always been centrist but could if I wanted to masquerade as a Conservative.

I have posted here and elsewhere, I am a Fiscal Conservative, a social moderate and radical conservation/environmentalist.

Fiscal Conservative does not mean I don't think we should tax and spend, it means we need to balance taxing and spending more conservatively, spending is too high, and taxes are too low. Social Moderate means that I think we should help the poor but with restraint and the disadvantaged and those who are subject to much discrimination need to be supported but my support come at the price that they need to stop whining about how abused they are. Back before climate change became a huge issue, I supported the EPA, the Sierra Club, National Wildlife Federation, the Audubon Society, the National Park Service and many more who advocated for Conservation and a cleaner environment. I also support reasonable gun control laws, but I am not a gun control advocate because gun control groups mostly are populated with people who want to ban guns.

To many fellow Republicans I am a lefty liberal socialist but of course they are wrong.

I too think I can talk to both sides without getting offended if they keep the name calling to a minimum.
