All of Israel's enemies are weak. They are not capable of destroying Israel. Syria, Yemen, Lebanon are in shambles. Hezbollah and Hamas are small terrorist groups, all they can do is terror, they can't mount a real invasion. Iran is far away and afraid of being caught actively involve in a conflict in Israel less they suffer even more consequences of their axis of evil activities. Anything the Arab League was thinking back in 1947 has been overcome by more than half a century of facts on the ground. Hamas will not be able to repeat their unlikely success. They shot their wad and will be licking their wounds for decades.

Today, about 21 percent of Israel's population is Arab, totaling some two million people. Not all of Israel supports what its military is doing.

In the USA we have millions of Antisemites, Islamophobes and White Supremacists. Events like this bring them out of the woodwork. Sadly, we can only stop them after the commit some crime like punching you in the face or burn a Mosque or Synagogue. I hope you reported that hate crime (and have witnesses) so one more evil person can be brought to justice.

I despise terrorist and I support Israel's right to defend itself. To maintain my support Israel must abide by international law. Right now, I don't believe they are, and I believe they are seeking vengeance not justice or self-defense. It is natural to seek to punish people who hurt you but there are limits on the action that you can take in response to act of violence committed against you. Israel's actions are disproportionate to the damage they suffered. I hope Israel comes to its senses.
