All the best lies have a basis in a nugget of truth. I have not looked into the impact of immigration on the demographics of other regions of the world, it is a fact that immigration and the fecundity of immigrants has led to a demographic shift in the U.S.A that has significantly reduced the percentage of the citizens who are White Anglo-Saxon Protestants. This might not in fact be a "great replacement" it is close enough to make the lie hard to challenge.
