Are we there yet?

I don’t think anything less demonstrative than an American Tiananmen Square Massacre will move the needle.

Can American Law Enforcement be provoked to adequate violence that it will move the needle.

I think it will really take the military with live ammo killing Americans before the people really wake up. A little burning and looting will not provoke that response.

We are so drugged that it will take a two by four up side our heads to wake us up. Onesy twosy will not do it. With a pandemic that is killing over 100,000 and school shootings that kill dozens. The cops killing one here and one there is just not going to register. With the planet on a slide into environmental disaster that will kill millions, a racist police force in a society rife with racial inequity is just another news story and it is a stale one at that. It has been a story for decades. With the end of the world in our children’s lifetime on the horizon it is more like time to party like it is 1999. Looting and rioting is just a sideshow.
