Maybe we should buy some stuff, stuff might hold its value better than paper or digital investments.

If people are selling stuff maybe we could pick up some bargains. Sell some stocks and buy a second home or land or a farm.

If you are handy maybe buy some tools. It is too late here but buying guns and ammunition would have been a good investment 8 months ago now you can't find them at almost any price.

I would suggest buying wine and booze but having a large stash of wine or booze might make you a target for criminals.

Can you suggest other durable goods that might become scarce or hold their value in hard times.
