Aren't they criminals? You mean they will be treated like the criminals they are. Not legal means criminal. If they could be expected to show up for their deportation hearings they would not need to be detained, it is clear that most would just skip the hearing, especially since it is quite likely they would be deported.

How is willing to work hard jobs for low pay any sort of mitigation for criminal trespassing? The system should supply legal workers who can work hard jobs for proper pay with worker protections.

More and more desperate people will continue to try to enter the U.S. illegally, many will succeed, some will be caught. All this at great cost to taxpayers.

I think this is one more issue that both sides don't want resolved because it can be used politically.

Expand the Non-Resident Migrant Worker Visa Programs if we need workers.
