As I said elsewhere, deflation does not reduce the value of assets it just reduces the dollar value not the intrinsic (real) value. The wealthy have a choice, they are wealthy, they only have debt they choose, and the real burden of debt does not increase or decrease with inflation or deflation, the burden is the spread not the actual rate.
