Canadians are people, they happen to live in Canada. What nation you live in only really is an identity if you made a conscious decision to live in that nation and disavow citizenship or identity with some other nation.

Canada as a country has things to be proud of and things to be ashamed of. What makes a country great is not its power in the world but the quality of life and the virtues of its people.
