“Are their seven notes in a musical scale?
The seven notes of music are: a, b, c, d, e, f, and g. They repeat after that, starting again with a. Depending on whether or not you wish to go into specifics, there can be many more or less. In the chromatic scale, there are 12 notes.”
a final 8th note
An eighth note, also called a quaver is a note played for one eighth the duration of a whole note (semibreve). It lasts a quarter of the duration of a half note (minim) and half of the duration of a quarter note (crotchet). In 4/4 time a whole note lasts for four beats. An 8th note lasts for half a beat. Two of these notes make up a quarter note.
