Did you read that Forbes article. That sentence taken out of context is in direct conflict with the premise of the story. They said this as well. "Yes. there are differences in measured IQ between various ‘races’. But what if anything do these differences mean? One cannot accurately and meaningfully compare scores of people with differing experiences health status and educational opportunities." Racial differences are caused by social differences not genetic differences.

Do you not think America is a "Great Country?"

I do think America is a "Great Country," maybe not the best country. I don't really try to rank countries.

Do I wish America was different, sure.

Do I think America is getting better? Not fast enough and is some ways it is getting worse.

Thought experiment, is someone better off being born in a country like Iceland or Ireland or the U.S.A. It think the answer is in general they would be better off being born in Iceland or Ireland. Say you were born in Ireland and are wealthy, talented and intelligent, might you be better off if you moved to the U.S.A. Might you be able to live a better life? One of the problems in the U.S.A. is so many people are born into poverty and not given much opportunity and growing up is a struggle. This brings down our national averages in everything from life expectancy to educational achievement or other measures of quality of life.

You say secular but you imply atheist. You can be secular and still believe in God.
