Do you think your story is even handed or do you admit to your bias?

Yes, Trump and many Conservatives are spreading lies and half truths but to a lesser degree so are you.

Also by invoking visions of Kristallnacht aren’t you inflaming sentiment over logic.

The silence of opposition in Federal politics to the internment of asylum-seeking migrants is deafening.

Internment of asylum-seeking migrants is a common and accepted practice around the world. Until asylum is granted the migrants are detained in humane conditions or in many parts of the world, inhumane conditions. If the asylum-seeking migrants come in waves or caravans or in large numbers they overload the resources that are available to process them and create a backlog that leads to greater terms of detention.

Children are only separated from their parents when the parents are consider to be a danger to the children or the parents need to be separated from the general population because they are suspected of a tendency toward violence or other criminality.

Some of the migrants are criminals and some of them will be denied asylum for other reasons.

The United States government must make amends and give aid to the migrants, the real needy, the impoverished. The hungry and tired, the meek and suffering, the yearning migrants deserve this government’s mercy.

The U.S. provides more humanitarian aid then any other nation in the world.

The U.S. grants asylum to more people than any other nation in the world.

The U.S. accepted 1,183,500 permanent migrants in 2016, remaining the top country for immigration. This number measures lawful permanent resident status granted and does not include migration to the U.S. by other means. These new immigrants brought the entire U.S. foreign-born population to more than 13 percent of the total population.

I think this issue is being used as a political weapon by both the left and the right with little consideration for the truth.
