First, no Chinese company is truly private, China is a communist country.

The USA does not believe in "free markets" it believes in markets regulated by the government to prevent the people from being abused by monopolies, cartels and oligarchs. It is the plutocrats, the elites, the billionaires and the oligarchs who believe they should not be regulated, they are the ones that believe in free markets.
