First off I feel like this story points the finger of blame in the wrong direction. Those companies are suppliers of carbon not so much consumers of carbon. Consumption is the problem. Without demand the suppliers would stop production.

Second, all the discussion about targets is useless if we don’t take action. We need to stop talking about the goal and move out with actions to reduce emissions, more and stronger actions to curb consumption.
