For many are called, but few are chosen.

That God might be benevolent is not a given but none the less. Evil's existence does not negate Godly benevolence.

I am not a Christian, but I do love Jesus. He was kind of a narcissist himself but a loveable one. I believe that God is more of a neutral party. Trump is just a test. To my mind, to cling to Trump is to fail the test. To hate those who cling to Trump is to fail the test. To act in a manner to pass the test, is to fail the test. The only way to pass the test is to do right by your conscience just because it is right, test or no test.
