Fossil fuels do not rule the world, greed and gluttony rule the world, fossil fuels just feed that greed and gluttony. The greedy feed the gluttonous and both get fat. We are the gluttonous, We the People of the Developed Countries.

We will not stop the extraction of fossil fuels, but we should be able, at least, to stop investing in future expansion of the fossil fuel infrastructure. No new pipelines, no new refineries, no new LNG terminals, fewer new wells, no new coal mines, no new coal fired power plants.
