Fragile

It seems everything is getting more fragile. Like a house of cards. Very little is robust, stout, built to last. Just in time manufacturing. Interconnected supply chains. We design things with less than 10% margin against structural failure.
The elegance of fragile designs is attractive, but I don’t like living that way.
I doubt many of you will understand this was a Rock & Roll discussion in the 70’s. BTO said “Not Fragile” and Yes cut an LP titled “Fragile.”
Everything has its place but the World and Society is “Too Fragile”
