Give us a break, you can't be serious about:

"We are at the stage where compromise with these forms of social abuse is no longer viable. The authority for that must come directly from the majority of the resident population."

There will be no democratic coup or revolution and a violent revolution would cause tremendous damage worse than the status quo.

Negotiation and compromise is the only path to real improvement. Yes, it will be slow and things will get much worse before they get better. We might even have the violence I wish to avoid because things will get so bad that violence will seem to be a better path. It isn't. People who take power through violence are damaged or even deranged. That leadership would be akin to Mao.
