Have you check on the availability of helium, it is already being rationed. Go look up EROI. While we have not run out of anything yet, and we probably will never completely run out of anything, the quality of the sources for most non-renewable resources is rapidly declining. Long before something runs out, it becomes impractical to continue extracting the resource. We will leave oil and coal in the ground; they will not run out they just won't be able to be produced at a profit.
