Here is another hint. NATO is supplying arms to a non-NATO country to fight NATO's long standing enemy. NATO is fighting Russia in the Ukraine. Just because the troops are not in NATO uniforms does not mean they are not fighting NATO's fight. If Germans, French, Polish or Italians were dying in large numbers in Ukraine a negotiated settlement might be faster achieved. Any NATO government sending its troops to the Ukraine would have political problems at home.
