Hopefully the Fascist Nationalists are dying off but long live the Democratic Nationalists. Transnational corporations are mostly exploitative and transnational NGO are full of elitist hypocrites.

While “people can connect with each other across the world, without any limitations, without any borders” most of us don’t and really don’t care too and if we had less immigrants there would be even less reason to.

Allowing immigration is either an act of charity, an exploitation or a win win combination of both. Immigration can be good or bad but it is not necessary.

While win win options some time exist most often there are winners and losers. There in nothing wrong with prioritizing the welfare of our citizen over the welfare of non-citizens. If we are considering sacrificing the welfare of citizen in favor of non-citizens we must do it democratically.

I think it is detrimental to our society to allow immigration of poor people who don’t speak English. I believe we do have an obligation to help people who are severely persecuted find a better life and thus should accept some asylum seekers and refugees to immigrate but I don’t feel we have an obligation to accept everyone who wants to come here. I feel charitable but with limits.

We do ourselves a disservice if we don’t stop vulnerable people from coming here illegally and it is harmful to them as well. These vulnerable people will be abused by unscrupulous employers and criminals damaging our society and its reputation.

My order of allegiance is Family, Friends, Community, State, Nation, World. Does it make me a Nationalist to put the interests of my country above the interests of other countries and the world? What does it make me when I put the interests of my community above the interests of the nation?
