Human space travel to the Moon or Mars is just an exercise in vanity for people and nations. Scientifically it is a huge waste of money. We should not be spending the taxpayer's money on going to the Moon. If Musk or Bezos want to do it, they need to do it in a way that does not harm the Moon or the Earth. I am pretty sure that is not possible. Musk has already damaged a remote wildlife habitat.
