I admit to seeking some degree of power. I have often said that I was glad I did not grow up rich or become rich at a young age. I fear I would have misused the power of wealth before I learn proper restraint.

I seek meaning and satisfaction, power is a tool that helps achieve those goals. Personal power of restraint, only a person of great strength can wield the power of restraint. You can only become satisfied if you can restrain your greed, gluttony and lust. You can feel proud of your restraint but rarely will others praise you for not indulging.
