I agree that Trump is an extreme example, but I think that it is almost necessary to be a Malignant Narcissist and a Sociopath to rise to the highest levels in governments or corporations. We could fix this by selecting at least the members of the House of Representative by lottery then many fewer of them would be sociopaths.

Seriously I think you have to be more than a little twisted to put yourself and your family thru what is required to gain high office.
