I am not opposed to less developed countries joining forces to offset the effects of "western hegemony" as long as they do it and behave in accordance with international laws.

Iran might be trying to de-escalate now that they are on their back foot, but they had their part in creating the crisis. They should not have poked the bear. They, Iran and their proxies, opened a Pandora's Box that will not close until some serious death and damage done and points are made. I understand that Iran's enemy is the U.S. the great Satan.

Personally, I am opposed to theocratic governments and dictatorships. I am not happy with the U.S. current Neo-liberal conservative plutocratic oligarchic elitist government, but it is a better choice than a dictatorial Christian conservative nationalist government. I wonder what options Iran has if it was to reform its government. What if Iran decided to end trying to export its revolution and focused on improving the lives of people living in Iran?
