I am not sure why you think you are annoying and while we disagree on climate change, we are probably not that far apart. The major difference is probably in our guessing the future, you think people will act to stop carbon emission earlier than I believe people will act. You think they will act in time to prevent some of the worst outcome, I don't believe that will be the case. I am not saying we should not try but I am also saying now is the time to prepare for some pretty bad outcomes.

When the Romney wing of the party failed to retain control of the party there was no longer a good faith opposition to negotiate with. Sometimes winning a battle can cause you to lose the war.
