I am sure that many are thinking about what the future holds for the Ukraine. I have not heard anyone make it clear that this war will not resolve anything. Since Russia did not force the Ukraine to surrender, this war will drag on for decades. Even in the unlikely event that NATO and the Ukraine can push the Russian back to the pre-2014 borders there will remain and insurgency in the Donbas and Crimea. Even a change in leadership in the Kremlin will not stop the fighting. The fighting would only stop with a Ukrainian surrender and that ain't happening.
