I am very knowledgeable about some subjects that I did not do the primary research myself. I am sure you are for some subjects as well.

In this specific case, you don't seem to be well informed, and you don't point to the sources of information you used to base your discussion.

I would rarely ask a Librarian for their opinion on technical subjects unrelated to running a library. I would ask a reference librarian about references related to a subject or how to find references to a subject. As a librarian the way you could be most helpful would be to point us to the sources most useful to us not giving us your poorly informed opinions.

I am not trying to discourage you from writing here. I am just trying to make your work more valuable.
