I can't hardly stand to throw things in the trash. If I buy carefully less goes in the trash.

Beside my Dad's tools I have things he and I made some of them are half a century old. He made some nice furniture that I got when my parents passed on.

I buy a lot of quality secondhand items and I salvage other things and fix them up.

I have two furnished houses; they are nicely cluttered but not like some hoarder.

Not everything can or should be durable, but neither should everything be disposable.

Choose wisely.
