I can't imagine how drained I would feel if I ran my own business. I think being able to punch the clock and check out after an 8-hour shift and have the weekends without any obligations is great. Paid vacations, holidays, sick leave, workman's comp, health insurance, life insurance, company picnic and Christmas party. Many workers spend hours on their phone at work on not work-related activities. Their corporate overlords far from being scumbags, are quite nice and generous. Without work I don't think I would have half as many friends as it do.
