I do the shopping and remember my wife's preferences. When there were kids, I did my share of keeping tabs on their needs. I do all my own laundry and do toilets and floors. Why do so many people think that guys do not do this stuff. You know, some single parents are guys. Do you remember to change the oil and replace the brake tag? Do you get fresh gas for the generator before hurricane season? Who covers the gardens, so the frost does not kill the plants? Who cleans the gutters? Who cleans the chimney and fireplace. Who makes sure there is propane for the gas grill? Once the kids have moved out there is a lot more emotional drudge work for the guys than the gals and more and more couples are not having kids or are having fewer kids.
