I don't advocate for religiosity, and I am a lapsed Catholic. I disagreed with a lot of church doctrine. I believe in much of Jesus' message even though I think he is a fictional character. I don't believe in the "believe in me and be saved part." I feel religions are too public and political. Activist evangelical movements to convert people, I think, are evil. Forcing people to join a particular religion or face persecution is an even greater evil. Persecuting people for their religion is also a great evil. Mixing politics and religion, evil as well.

There is but one God, the creator of all that is, do what is good in God's name or just do good for goodness' sake. Doing evil in God's name, well, I can only hope has Karmatic consequences. Oh, just my belief but I want to share, God does not have a gender and there is no useful pronoun. God might not even be a being and might not even be self-aware.
