I don't believe Zionism is Racism. That does not mean I don't think Zionist are in the right. This would be easier to believe if it had not and did not continue to mean evicting non-Jews from land coveted by Zionist and settling it with Jews.

"That’s because Zionism isn’t what you think it is. It’s simply the ideology that the Jews have a right to return to their original home."

Zionism is considered Colonialist because it involves taking land by force of arms/police powers with the support of the original Colonial powers (UK, France, U.S.). That support from the Colonial powers has waned as the extreme Zionists have gone too far.

Every time a Zionist homesteads in the Occupied Territories Zionism loses international support and more importantly Israel loses support in the U.S.

Until the tide turns and Israel starts returning land to the people and decedents of the people who resided there prior to the Arab Israeli wars, Israel becomes a greater and greater pariah.

The original Mandate was really a step too far and Zionists settling in the Occupied Territories is compounding the felony.

Of course Israeli politics makes it impossible to return land to its previous occupants or to even stop the settlers so this unfortunate situation will remain unresolved. Of course Israel could never offer enough land for peace to Hamas to be satisfied. The Palestinians already turned down the best deal they were going to get.

The hyperbole that Zionism is Colonialist, Apartheid, Racist, etc. is just politics. Just firing up the base. That does not mean that Zionism does not have a dark side. It does not mean that Zionist don't steal Palestinian's homes or land.

Don't bother me with arguments about there is no Palestine or Palestinians, we know what land we are talking about and who lived there and when. When the people from whom the land was stolen are still alive, it is pretty hard to defend the theft.
