I don't see how the bible would make anyone believe or not believe in God. I think it is a wonderful book of historical fiction with a lot of good life lessons. It does not make a case for there being a God at all it just is premised on there being God and Angels and life after death.

I believe in God, the creator of all that is but I am more of a Theist, I don't think God takes much interest the goings on of humans. I believe that humans wrote the bibles not God. I think real Christians, the ones that follow Jesus' example, are wonderful, sadly they seem the minority.
