I don't think you will see real change until after an American version of the Tiananmen Massacre. The Neo-Liberal/Conservative Plutocratic Oligarchic Elites have too strong a grip on all the levers of power (media, markets, property, politicians). Until the jack booted thugs show they are willing to kill protesters in mass, not just onesie twosie the elites will not be forced to disavow their actions. Any single victim can be dismissed as a mistake or even a just self-defense. Hundreds lying dead in the streets cannot be justified.

Mass evictions will not happen, it would do landlords no good to have empty property with no takers. Rents would tank. Starving the people would required ending SNAP. You can really feed yourself on SNAP if you don't want to starve. People will not starve unless the shelves are bare.

Do you realize how far we have to fall to hit rock bottom. Look around the world. Syria, Lebanon, Venezuela, Chile, Ethiopia, North Korea, etc.

Trump or Biden, well of course Biden is the least bad of the two choices but it really does not matter who is your president. It is more important who is your mayor or governor. Reform will need to be bottoms up not top down. My parish still elects a "law and order" Sheriff. Until that changes Black lives will not matter. My city is pro-growth. Cut down the forest and build build build. The mayor and city council is in the pockets of the developers.
