The 21st. century will be marked as a great turning point in history. Certainly if the population goes from 7 billion to a tiny fraction of that it will be well remembered, even ten thousand years in the future. Even Nuclear Holocaust will leave remnants to rival the Pyramids of Egypt in the eyes of the surviving population. If this turning point is marked less by violence and more by famine and plague that all the structures will remain maybe even functioning huge hydroelectric dams
