I feel so much better now that I gave up hope. I did not give up, I am still fighting but I gave up hoping to see victory, progress or anything else satisfying. I am fighting for the fight; things will get worse and worse until after I am dead. I will not know if we win or lose. I don't hope I just fight; I just need to die with a clean conscience. Well, sort of clean. We are all guilty.

Hope is for fools. Bravery is fighting on when you have no hope.
