I feel so much better since I gave up hope and strive to accept with serenity the things that cannot be changed. I try to find the courage to change the things which should be changed, and the wisdom to distinguish one from the other.

I can imagine and would advocate for an adequate UBI but I am pretty certain what we will get is a crisis that will force the government to create a dole that will be barely enough to keep the population from collapse. I am expecting you understand that a crisis of great proportions will impact the world within the lifetime of some people alive today. Energy shortages and climate effects will cause significant deprivation and probably significant loss of life both human and others.

The idea of a happy life supported by an AI generated UBI is an unrealistic fantasy.

In that future you would probably rather have someone provide a subsistence food package than you would want a fiat UBI. You can't eat money, especially if the money is electronic.

I can imagine people standing in line all day to buy bread with their UBI.
