I feel your examples associated with this sentence show you are not making some of the fun decisions. Why not pick your food order, why not choose your clothes, have a personal style, be yourself. Why not plan a vacation. You have a few nuggets in this story but a lot of, I don't know what to call it, but it is not good stuff for me. I have plenty of neuron power to spare for fun decisions. I have been a risk adverse investor almost from the beginning. I sleep better that way and while I am not as rich and famous as you, I am not lacking for money.

Should not your partner be a protector too? You might not be available, or you might be incapacitated and need her/them to protect you and the children.

You don't seem to do much story telling lately, more seeming to be lectures.
