I find it easy to spend money but I also abhor waste. I have junk furniture because I would have to throw it away to make room for something nicer. I recycle almost everything I can and I don't mean just curb side. I take stuff to the scrap yard but have spent tens of thousands of dollars buying things new and used that are useful, durable and fungible. I have very many things, valuable things, quality things. I also make things, repair things. I wear out things nobody wears. I have jeans, socks, and underwear that are still in their packaging and a supply of household goods that would keep me supplied for more than a year. I like to buy things, buy things that will appreciate. I am frugal but frugality does not mean deprivation it means shopping wisely, planning for the future, not buying crap and not wasting things.
