I forgive you for writing about writing on Medium.

I have a few hundred followers but I am not in the partners program. I don't get paid for what I write, it is available to even those to don't subscribe but I doubt they see my writing. I doubt my work is promoted at all by Medium. I don't care. I think I have read every Medium story you have written. I followed you a long time ago. You are usually a good read.

I have hardly noticed the changes in Medium. The algorithm seems to provide me with more content that I want to read than what ever was promoted to me before. I chalked that up to my long presence here allowing the algorithm to better understand my preferences. They no longer feed me stories about how to make money on Medium. I don't care about making money. I do wish more people would read what I write but that is because I think the wisdom I share would make everyone wiser but most of that wisdom is in responses, not stories. I have written hundreds of stories but thousands of responses.

I think it is right and correct to once in a while comment about the platform.
