I guess part of spreading God's message is to warn of false messages.

I guess someone has to do it.

I rejected religion and church but I still listen for God's message.

God does not only speak through Christians or even Abrahamics.

That is falling into a trap. Is on not about persons, it is about the message. I don't care who the message comes from if it is the truth. Cult of personality.

Good advice should be anonymous, untainted by perceptions of the source. If you accept advice and count it good because you respect the source you are just a slave. Think for yourself. Don't accept the bible because it is the bible. Accept God's message because you recognize it as the truth, not because it is written in a respected book.

Power and authority corrupts. These "Leaders" are like any rich person trying to get into heaven. Their power is a temptation to them that almost nobody can resist. It is an addiction and it is contagious.

Stay far away.
