I have quietly supported gun restrictions, something very unpopular with my friends and co-workers. I have passed numerous background checks and am pretty sure I will be able to keep all my guns regardless of the restrictions. Most of my guns are for sporting uses, antiques or not considered firearms under BATF rules. More restrictive gun laws will be elitist. The rich and privileged will be able to keep and get guns and the poor or disadvantaged will become criminals if they keep or get guns.

More restrictive gun laws will benefit the Plutocratic Oligarchic Authoritarian Elites. They don't even carry their own guns; they hire professional gunslingers for protection.
