I hope this story helps but I don't see a proposed fix in this story.

I don't see men changing very fast. I don't expect the bad guys becoming fewer but I can hope.

The reality is horrible.

Women taking a more active self-defense role might help. More deterrence, more avoidance, maybe but putting the burden on Women is not fair, good or right. it might be the only thing that is effective.

We can lean harder into "believing" women and stop giving men the benefit of the doubt. That might run counter to our systems of justice but it might be a just form of affirmative action to counter years of abuse.

The women know who are the bad guys better than anyone, maybe they need to exact a little vigilante justice. Easier to get forgiveness than permission. Men have been getting away with what is hard to prove, women can too.
