I judge you not by how much money you have but by how nice you are toward people to whom you do not have to be nice.
I watch people to see how they treat people. Do they tell truth to the rich and powerful or do they suck up. Are they nice to the less fortunate.
I understand that sucking up and shitting down works for some as a pathway to power and financial rewards (and an inflated ego) but it has no honor.
It might not be virtue but I cheer for that fall of those with no honor. I hope I can be forgiven.
I am not a Christian but the story of Jesus washing the feet of his disciples was a meaningful life lesson for me. We are here to serve each other not to be served.
